Ever since I picked up that Pentax SLR camera and roll of B&W film in my Grade 8 Fine Arts class I've been hooked on photography. I've pursued it  and off as both a serious hobby and part-time profession for 20+ years.

I'm pulled to portrait work I think mostly because of the documentarian nature of it. I enjoy the brief moments when people forget that their being photographed. Those moments allow me to capture people at their most authentic self. Candid or not, these are the moments I shoot for.

I've been inspired to shoot more nature and street photography. Shooting life as I pass through it and it passes by me. I shoot for the meditative nature of the act of photography, searching for a feeling more than the end result. ​​
